Facilities Management and the Bathroom Task Force have been working for over four years to update bathrooms on our campus. We have some minor things to finish up to complete this project, including the permanent signage, altering locks, and adjusting fixtures.
Our long-term goal is that every building on campus will have, at minimum:
- One fully-accessible men’s restroom
- One fully-accessible women’s restroom
- One fully-accessible all-gender restroom (either single or multi user)
All-gender restrooms are public restrooms that can be used by people of any gender or sex.
Also, those who do not identify with the gender binary may determine whichever facility is the most appropriate and most comfortable for them including, but not limited to the single gender restrooms. For more information, please visit the Center for Gender + Sexualities Resources page.

All-Gender Single-stall restroom locations on campus:
- Admission House (one)
- Alumni House (one)
- Anderson Center (two, on the first and second floors; the first floor is wheelchair accessible)
- Anne Simley and Sundin Hall (one, in the hallway of the music rehearsal space)
- Bush Memorial Library (BML) (one, in the basement near the front elevator and CASA) - note, this one is waiting on a lock.
- Drew Hall (one, on the first floor back near the entry to the first-floor dorm rooms)
- Drew Science (two, on the second and third floors; one is wheelchair accessible)
- Manor Hall (two, in the basement across from the benefits office)
- Sorin Hall (two, located near the gendered multi-stall restrooms )
- Walker Field House (two, in the basement across from the handball and racquetball courts)
Multi-stall All Gender - inclusive restroom locations on campus:
- East Hall (one, third floor, three stalls; and one of first floor that will be ready in April)
- Giddens Learning Center (GLC) (one, second floor, three stalls)
- Robbins Science (one, first floor, three stalls)
- West Hall (two, both on second floor, one restroom has two stalls and a quiet space (please not the change to multi-stall), and a second one is designated as a single user, with two stalls and two urinals)
