Extensive offerings for serious and budding artists alike
Try your hand at painting in the center's 2,000 square foot painting studio, with almost 1,000 square feet of north light. Or explore printmaking using the finest intaglio process equipment available in the printmaking studio. The center also houses the art history department's slide library, an extensive collection of 80,000 slides.
Anne Simley Theatre resides within Drew Fine Arts Center and provides professional theatre experiences to student actors and technicians. This state-of-the-art facility seats nearly 300 people and also offers shop space for set-building, costumes, and lighting. The Department of Theatre Arts typically presents five shows each school year, along with a theatre and film festival and a dance ensemble performance.
Hamline's Soeffker Gallery houses an impressive permanent collection and has hosted a number of prestigious touring exhibits.
