Hamline University is proud to offer all full-time (non-temporary) employees a variety of benefit options to choose from. Part-time (non-temporary) employees are also eligible for some of the benefit options.

Benefit timelines
Depending on eligibility, most benefits are effective on the first of the month following the date of hire. Changes may be made to benefit elections only during New Hire Enrollment, Annual Open Enrollment, or due to a Qualifying Life Change Event. The only exception is the 403(b) Retirement Plan and HSA (Health Spending Account) Plan. These may be changed at anytime throughout the year. Please see below for details on the enrollment time periods.
